Configuring Your Website Domain

We recommend you purchase a custom domain name (www.STORENAME.com) from a domain host such as Network Solutions, Register.com or HostGator.  There are many domain host platforms; these are just a few of the most popular sites.  If you have a domain name purchased from GoDaddy, click here for further configuration instructions.

If you already have a domain name through a different website host and do not own your domain name or have access to edit your domain name settings, we recommend you reach out to have the domain transferred to your ownership.

SnapRetail does not host domain names or email domain name (Example: info@STORENAME.com) for email hosting. SnapRetail only hosts the content of your website.

In order to have your domain connect to your SnapRetail website, you must add/edit two records found in the DNS Settings or DNS Manager.  You will need to edit the A Record and the CNAME Record.

We recommend you reach out to the domain host’s Customer Support to learn how to find and edit DNS Settings for your domain name. If your email is hosted through your domain name, editing records could disrupt your email service. Please contact the domain host’s Customer Support to make sure your service is not interrupted while configuring your website domain name.
