Adding the SnapIt image tool to your browser

The SnapIt image tool enables you to save professional product and lifestyle shots from a vendor’s website (or any website) with the click of a button. Images captured with the SnapIt tool will save automatically to your images in your SnapRetail account. Follow the steps below to get started:

• Install the SnapIt tool by dragging the icon from the Dashboard to the toolbar of your browser. (You can also simply drag the image above from this article to your toolbar).

• Click the SnapIt button in your browser whenever you see an image you want to use and then click SnapIt.

• You can add an image name and/or short description to the image.

• Select Complete and the image will save to your SnapRetail Image Library.
• Alternatively, if you are unable to add the SnapIt Tool using the instructions above follow the instructions below.
• Google Chrome
  • Right click on the SnapIt Tool icon on your SnapRetail Dashboard and select Copy Link Address.
  • Navigate to your Bookmarks Manager by clicking on the icon of the 3 horizontal lines at the top right hand corner of Google Chrome. Select Bookmarks and then Bookmark Manager.
  • Right click on Bookmarks bar and select Add Page.
  • In the URL field paste the link you had previously copied.
  • Type SnapIt in the Name field.
  • SnapIt Tool will now appear on your Bookmarks bar or if the Bookmarks bar is full it will appear under the >> icon on the right of your Bookmarks bar.
• Mozilla Firefox
  • Right click on the SnapIt Tool icon on your SnapRetail Dashboard and select Copy Link Location.
  • Right click on the Bookmarks bar and select New Bookmark.
  • In the Name field type SnapIt
  • Paste the link into the Location field.
  • Hit Add
  • SnapIt Tool will now appear on your Bookmarks bar or if the Bookmarks bar is full it will appear under the >> icon on the right of your Bookmarks bar.
• Internet Explorer
  • Right click on the SnapIt Tool icon on your SnapRetail Dashboard and select Add to Favorites.
  • Select Favorites Bar under the “Create in:” drop down menu
  • SnapIt Tool will now appear on your Bookmarks bar
  • If the Favorites Bar is not displaying, right click anywhere at the top of your browser and check “Favorites bar”.
• Safari
  • Right click on SnapIt icon and select “Copy Link.” [If you can’t right click, hold down the Control button and then click.]
  • Save SnapRetail as a Favorite bookmark [To do this, click Bookmarks > Add Bookmark > Select Favorites from the “Add this page to:” menu.]
  • Open your Favorites.
  • Find the SnapRetail Dashboard page that you just Favorited. Right click and select “Edit Address.” Delete the address that shows up and paste in the address you copied in step 1 (command + V). Click Done.
  • (Optional)) Right click on the SnapRetail Dashboard in your Favorites again and click Rename. Rename to SnapIt.
